The Director of Client Solutionsposition is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking their ED management experience in a client account and advisory services management position. This role works collaboratively with numerous hospital clients, including ED Medical Directors, ED Nurse Managers and hospital administration to enhance emergency department performance and patient throughput and identify improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, operations, and patient satisfaction. You'll also be developing and helping to implementing cutting edge ED solutions, leading ad:hoc projects, analyzing ED performance metrics and providing practice support to our emergency medicine physician groups.
Qualified candidates will have several years of managerial level responsibility in an ED environment, excellent interpersonal, communication, technical and organizational skills and the ability and willingness to travel. The role will be based in the Parsippany, NJ office.
:Facilitates and promotes communication and solid working relationships among client hospitals, physician employees, midlevel providers and ED Leadership Teams.
:Assists with the development of division strategies and product development of ED Solutions Department.
:Evaluates facility needs and creates action plans to improve operational and clinical performance.
:Pursues current innovative information and serves as a resource for national best practices and benchmarks.
:Functions as a resource for governmental (national, state and local) and legal initiatives such as EMTALA, TJC and CMS.
:Leads Patient Flow Redesign projects utilizing LEAN for Healthcare methodology.
:Identifies and implements training needs to improve patient satisfaction and HCAHPS
:Acts as a consultant to ED physicians in monitoring Quality Assurance and improvement activities to maintain hospital compliance with regulatory agencies.
:Assists with monitoring and improvement of Core Measures.
:Assists with research, planning, and the implementation of new services and special projects.
:Support regional business development strategies related to nurse leader networking and outreach.
:Acts as a resource to the Nurse Manager and Medical Director providing input into operational, staffing and productivity issues.
:Provides opportunity for Medical and Nursing Directors to network and collaborate with hospitals nationwide.
:Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred.
:3+ years in an emergency department setting related to clinical oversight, management, or continuous quality improvement.
:Demonstrated ability to lead a professional team in planning and execution of strategic objectives.
