PSEG is seeking an intern for the Business Support in our Clifton Gas Offices. The successful candidate will assist with Analytics, Work Planning, Financial Planning, Labor Relations and overseeing the overall execution of the Gas Field Construction Team.
Potential Assignments may include but are not limited to: Reading construction sketches, researching data discrepancies with district personnel, Reviewing/Auditing paperwork, Weekly Status reports, QA Checks, Assist with Process Improvements
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Econ, Accounting, Business or other similar majors from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2018 and May 2020. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. Candidates must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a safe driving record where required.
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10:12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0 in major, or 2.8 overall, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, F:1 and HB:1 sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
As an employee of PSE and G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
