Description:

Provides HR administrative support on day-to-day basis. Manages the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs. Carries out responsibilities in these functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

Tasks:

• Internal/external job postings and ads

• New Hire and Termination Paperwork

• I9’s and NJ State ID Cards

• New Employee Orientation

• Handbook enforcement and updates

• Employment letters

• Safety Training records

• Hearing tests, respiratory programs

• Maintains Employee information

• Track attendance

• Compose coach/counseling records

• Complete Payroll


 Time sheet/Time clock verification

 Payroll Reports

 Complete employment verifications and housing reports

 Garnishment and child support administration


• Administers employee health/dental insurance/life and Short term disability

• FMLA Paperwork

• Worker’s Compensation claims and logs

• Unemployment claims

• ACA compliance

• 401K administration

• Perform other jobs as needed


Responsibilities:

• Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Henry Repeating Arms Company.

• Works closely with Management in regards to employee issues.



Basic Qualifications:


• Previous HR experience required.

• Spanish-speaking capabilities strongly desired.

• Demonstrate leadership and people skills.

• Ability to manage time and prioritize work.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

• Must have exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work overtime.

• Perform other job duties as required.
